Hope Renewed Support Services provides Spiritual First Aid training to churches, nonprofits, and other agencies that request training. Training in New Castle County and surrounding areas is free, with a travel stipend requested for other locations.
Spiritual First Aid training teaches frontline peer-to-peer spiritual and emotional care and trauma-informed best practices through proven step-by-step BLESS CPR helping framework. Hope Renewed Support Services delivers this training through six in-person sessions that last about an hour and a half.
Hope Renewed Support Services also provides customized presentations on the connection between faith and mental health on request, and can connect organizations with a variety of other free and low-cost mental health training as needed.
